Dejan Milosavljev to Join Industria Kielce in 2026, Signs Until 2030

As previously reported by Handball-Planet.com a few months ago, Serbian goalkeeper Dejan Milosavljev will wear the jersey of Poland’s Industria Kielce from the summer of 2026. The deal with the Polish champions runs until June 2030, with Milosavljev officially set to join the club on 1 July 2026.

Milosavljev has been among Europe’s top goalkeepers for the past six to seven years. He won the EHF Champions League in 2019 with Vardar Skopje and has spent the last six seasons at Füchse Berlin, where he reached the EHF Champions League final, lifted the EHF European League trophy, and helped the club claim the first German championship title in its history. A regular member of the Serbian national team since 2014, Milosavljev has also been included in Serbia’s squad for the January EHF EURO in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

In last season’s EHF Champions League, he ranked second in total saves, recording 166 saves in 19 matches with a save percentage of over 27%. In the current Bundesliga season, he has already produced 120 saves in 15 games.

“Finalizing the transfer of Dejan Milosavljev, the best goalkeeper in the world, is a success for the entire environment around Industria Kielce and a huge sporting step for the club. It is the result of the trust and support of our sponsors, the commitment of the club’s owner, and the daily work of the people who are building this club,” said Paweł Papaj, acting president of KS Iskra Kielce.

Milosavljev, who turns 30 in March, has previously played for clubs including RK Jugović, Partizan Belgrade, and Vardar Skopje.

“Joining Industria Kielce is a huge challenge for me, but also an honour. This is a club with a rich history, great ambitions and a strong tradition in European handball. From the first talks with the club’s leadership, I felt we shared the same vision and goals, which made the decision easier,” said Dejan Milosavljev.

Head coach Talant Dujshebaev also welcomed the signing:

“This is an important moment for us, because we are bringing in a world-class reinforcement. In my opinion, Dejan is currently among the three best goalkeepers in the world. We are already looking forward to it and I hope he will be happy here. I can’t wait to start working together.”

Papaj underlined the broader effort behind the transfer:

“I would like to thank Dejan Milosavljev’s agents for their professional and exemplary cooperation throughout this transfer. They also deserve credit for bringing such a top-level player to the club. Our fans play a huge role as well—their passion and the atmosphere in Hala Legionów are a magnet for the biggest names—along with the coach, who gives direction to the team. The new player will join us from next season, and we already have goalkeepers we fully trust who are doing an excellent job. Rivalry and mutual respect have always been our strength, and I am convinced it will remain so in the months ahead.”

Milosavljev: “I’m coming to Kielce with clear ambitions”

In a longer statement, the Serbian goalkeeper emphasized what motivated his move:

“After a long and successful period in Berlin, I feel this is the right moment to take a step forward in my career. Füchse Berlin trusted me, gave me stability and the opportunity to develop as a player and as a person, and I am grateful to everyone in the club and in Berlin.

I thank my agents for guiding me professionally through the entire process, and I thank the management of Iskra Kielce for their openness and for transparent, fair negotiations. Working with coach Talant Dujshebaev is a special motivation—his tactical knowledge and winning mentality are known throughout the handball world.

I am arriving in Kielce with clear ambitions: I want to be an important part of the team, bring experience and the will to win, so that together we can attack every trophy in Poland and in Europe. I am sure that with a strong squad, staff, and the support of the fans, we can achieve great things.”
