The Olympic finalists and European gold medal winners from Serbia 2012, Montenegro, will be without two important players at World Championship which will start on December 5 in Denmark. Playmaker Andjela Bulatović and right wing Radmila Petrović (mononucleosis) won’t be able to help their team-mates to improve their only average record at World Championships.
Despite two medals in 2012 and semi-final at Women’s EHF EURO 2014, Montenegro lost two times at eight-finals at WCh 2011 and WCh 2013.
Montenegro will compete in Group A in Herning alongside Denmark, Serbia, Hungary, Tunisia and Japan.
