Dronninglund Cup 2026: Registration Opens for the Ultimate Youth Handball Experience in Denmark
Dronninglund, Denmark – One of Europe’s largest and most beloved international youth handball tournaments, the Dronninglund Cup, is ready to welcome teams from around the world once again. The 2026 edition will take place from July 5 to 10, with registration now officially open on the tournament’s newly redesigned website – www.dronninglundcup.com.
This historic event, now in its 48th year, offers young players a unique combination of sport, community, and cultural exchange. Despite the updated look and schedule, organizers confirm that prices remain unchanged from last year.
Age Categories and Competition Format
The Dronninglund Cup 2026 features competitions for both boys and girls across the following age groups:
Boys/Girls 23: Born 2003–2006
Boys/Girls 19: Born 2007–2008
Boys/Girls 17: Born 2009–2010
Boys/Girls 15: Born 2011–2012
Boys/Girls 13: Born 2013–2014
Boys/Girls 11: Born 2015, 2016, and later
Each team is guaranteed a minimum of eight matches, with all games played in and around the Dronninglund-Hallerne complex — featuring two indoor halls, nine artificial turf fields, and ten grass pitches.
