EHF CL: Kadetten and Flensburg with convincing home wins over Pick Szeged and Partizan

Flensburg-Handewitt as expected had an easy job at home against Partizan. Despite playing well in the first half and at one point getting as close as 13:12, Flensburg found form and took a 17:13 advantage at break. In the second half the steady play continued, and in the end Flensburg won with 31:23. Flensburg now shares the 1st place with Chekhovski and HSV Hamburg, 12 points each.

In the second game which was supposed to be more interesting ended in an easy home win for Kadetten Schaffhausen. The Swiss took the lead from the beginning of the match, and found way past Roland Mikler to bang huge 21 goals in Pick Szeged‘s net in the first half. The 7 goals advantage from the first half proved enough, and with a 15:15 in the second half, Kadetten is now back again in the fight for the 4th place in Group D, with level points with Pick Szeged now, and one more than RK Zagreb (game less).
