EHF Cup: Hosts HBC Nantes to meet Rhein-Neckar Loewen in the final!

The favorites of the semifinals justified their role, and won the respective games at the F4 in the EHF Cup in Nantes.

Hosts HBC Nantes were the first team to qualify to the final, after they won in front of the home crowd with 26:20 (11:9) over Team Tvis Holstebro. Valero Rivera Folch scored 8 goals for Nantes, while Magnus Grubb Bramming was Holstebro’s best with 5.

In the second game, Rhein-Neckar Loewen were only trailing during the initial 5 minutes of the game, but after that they turned into the dominant team of the game. Frisch auf Goppingen had no solution, and in the end had to concede 28:22 defeat.
