The teams fought a big battle, but the difference was made by the THW Kiel goalkeeper. Omeyer had a 46/ efficacy and that was the big problem for Atlético.
Kiel always played with the same rhythm, running and playing at level when necessary .

In the match for the 3rd and 4th place, the Danish Champion AG Kobenhavn won without much problems to a fighting Berlin side, the great surprise in this Champions League season.
