France beat Norway in derby of Day 5

The reigning World Champions, France, are close to the first place at Preliminary Round – Group A at home soil in Nantes after today’s victory over the biggest rival in first phase – Norway 31:28 (16:12). Karabatic and Co.o have found a big resistance of the Scandinavians, who were close until the end, but also dissatisfied with the referees from Iran. 

Match was played in noisy atmosphere of sold-out hall in Nantes, where 10.500 fans enjoyed great handball match.
