Slovenian playmaker Luka Dobelsek (32) signed a year contract with the domestic champions RK Celje Pivovarna Laško! His transfer will produce a lot of noise as he was almost icon of the biggest rival, RK Gorenje Velenje, where he spent 10 years of his proffesional career.
Dobelsek, the most useful in defensive jobs, played last three seasons for RK Gorenje, since he came back from Poland, where he was a member of Orlen Wisla Plock.
He has also a three years experience from DKB Bundesliga, where he played for TUS Lubbecke and Emsdetten.
RK Celje Pivovarna Laško will compete at the elite group of the VELUX EHF Champions League in the upcoming season, while RK Gorenje Velenje didn’t get wild-card for the qualifications which put them in the EHF Cup for the second year in a row.
