Uwe Gensheimer, the topscorer of last years Champions League, has been named new captain of Rhein-Neckar Lowen. He has succeeded Henning Fritz on this position, and the vice-captain will be Bjarte Myrhol. The 24 year old “Player of the Season” in Bundesliga last year, is expected to carry again the Lions towards new goals in the new season, despite the main club restructuring, and perhaps try to win the Bundesliga, or maybe even the Champions League.
