Germany without Wiede at Men’s EHF EURO 2020

The Netherlands, Spain and Latvia will be the rivals of Germany in Trondheim. German NT coach Christian Prokop has announced squad list for the upcoming matches in Norway at EHF EURO 2020, the first event with 24 national teams in three countries which will begin on January 9.

Here is the German squad:

Left wing: Uwe Gensheimer (Rhein-Neckar Löwen), Patrick Zieker (TVB Stuttgart)

Left back: Fabian Böhm (TSV Hannover-Burgdorf), Philipp Weber (SC DHfK Leipzig), Julius Kühn (MT Melsungen)

Playmaker: Paul Drux (Füchse Berlin), Marian Michalczik (TSV GWD Minden)

Right back: Franz Semper (SC DHfK Leipzig), Kai Häfner (MT Melsungen)

Right wing: Tobias Reichmann (MT Melsungen), Timo Kastening (TSV Hannover-Burgdorf)

Line player: Hendrik Pekeler (THW Kiel), Jannik Kohlbacher (Rhein-Neckar Löwen), Patrick Wiencek (THW Kiel), Johannes Golla
