Experienced Hungarian coach, Gyula Zsiga, is on the beginning of a new challenge in his long and successful career. After he left Montenegro, where he led EHF CL – Top Team, ZRK Buducnost and Montenegrian Women’s National Team, Zsiga accepted interesting opportunity to work with a group of young players in a new formed team – FTC PLER, the only handball team from Budapest.
– The things started very difficult after the fusion, but everything have already took his own place now. After my appointment, the Staff of Management and the Team changed. Our objective is to take place in the middle of the Hungarian Championship table this season. The success of the first season is very important as the beginning of the long distance plan.
It is interesting, that FTC-PLER is the only team from Budapest, Hungarian capital, where people like handball…
– Budapest has to feel that here exist a good team with safe background.

– We would like to stay as long as we can in the Cup Winners Cup. Built upon many of our talented children, we would like to get back in the best four teams in Hungarian Championship from the next season – said Zsiga for Handball-Planet.com
