Something what nobody could expect happened in Tauron Arena in Krakow! Croatia needed win against Poland with 11 and more goals, but Zeljko Babić guys managed to win 37:23 (15:10) and grab ticket for the semi-final ahead of France and Poland! The match which happens once in a decade, gave an amazing conclusion of the Main Phase in front of 15.000 sad domestic fans!
Manuel Štrlek netted 11 from 11, while Ivan Stevanović was amazing with 13 saves between the posts.
Croatia will play against Spain in the battle for the final.

What the Croatian National Handball team did last night could probably be considered the greatest phenomenon in the history of sport. Now this is a team with integrity. Respect.

Dear Editors,
I think that Croatia deserved any adjective in the title but the Crazy! This team, one of the most decorated teams in the history of handball, didn’t do it by chance and this outstanding result could have been treated with more appropriate wording, such as Fantastic, Unbelievable, outstanding….
