HC Erlangen sign Khalifa Ghedbane

Experienced Algerian goalkeeper has trophy of the EHF Champions League in his CV, as he was a part of golden RK Vardar Skopje generation who won in it Cologne 2019.

“We have been watching Khalifa for a long time and are very pleased that he has chosen HC Erlangen. Despite his imposing size, he is extremely flexible and agile, which makes him an excellent goalkeeper. His international experience will undoubtedly help us and I am convinced that he will be a valuable reinforcement for our team,” said Hartmut Mayerhoffer, coach of HC Erlangen, commenting on the signing. Ghedbane will replace Bertram Obling, who is moving to VfL Gummersbach for the new season, and will thus form the goalkeeper trio with Klemen Ferlin and Michael Haßferter.
