After two defeats at the beginning of Champions League this season from C. O Zagreb and SG Flensburg and unconvincing start in national League, where HCM Constanta won five from six matches (currently on second place), Board of the Club decided to change former headcoach of Serbian national team, Jovica Cvetkovic. Mutual termination of the contract started immediately and Romanian champion will pay a compensation fee to Serbian coach, who will tomorrow left Black Sea coast.
HCM Constanta is current champion of Romania and a first team who entered TOP 16 phase of Champions League. Jovica Cvetkovic is former national headcoach of Serbia (2006-2009). He is second coach who didn’t survive beginning of EHF CL season (first is Ola Lindgren from RNL).
