World Female Handball Player 2022 player is Norwegian superstar Henny Reistad!
Amazing 24-years old Scandinavian powerful left back has won the Handball-Planet.com contest powered by Nexe Grupa for the first time!
Reistad is one of the best players in women’s handball for a few years with brilliant seasons with Vipers and Team Esbjerg. She was voted for MVP of the Women’s EHF EURO 2022 in Slovenia, Montenegro and North Macedonia, where she won the gold medal with Norwegian national team. She is also leading scorer of the Women’s EHF Champions League 2022/2023, who helped her Esbjerg to qualify for the Final4 2023.
Reistad won the highest number of cumulative points of fans (53.326 votes in total) and Handball Planet jury alongside Stine Bredal Oftedal (19), but second criteria, number of points taken by Jury was decisive.
