Proffesional handball brings a lot of injuries, but this season in EHF Champions League winner, THW Kiel, is something special. Before the start, THW coach, Alfred Gislason couldn’t count on Kim Andersson, then, Daniel Narcisse (he will miss WC 2011 in Sweden and back at early Februar), Christian Zeitz, who is out for a last three weeks and probably will be ready for the match against RNL at December 1.
New troubles for the champions from the Baltic Sea are injuries of Marcus Ahlm, who won’t be ready before a New Year and also German right wing, Christian Sprenger, which recovery process are not known yet.
With this in THW Kiel can’t be happy, but also, their the biggest oponnent in Handball Bundesliga, HSV, announced that playmaker, Domagoj Duvnjak had an artroskophie, because of problem with right knee. Duvnjak will be out of the court at least three weeks.
