HSV shocks Füchse Berlin in 39–38 thriller as title hopes fade

After ten rounds of the Bundesliga race, Füchse Berlin are four points behind Flensburg, and potentially five behind Magdeburg. Nikolaj Krickau’s team recorded their third defeat in ten matches, and for the second time this season, Milosavljev and his teammates left their home court with their heads down. After Magdeburg, the champions’ scalp was also taken by HSV, who won 39:38 in a spectacular 60 minutes.
All this was used by their direct title rivals, who increased their lead with victories. Winning the title for the “Foxes” is becoming less and less realistic.
