One of the most important players at SG Flensburg Handewitt, Jim Gottfridsson, will be out at least four months after right foot injury during the derby match of DKB Bundesliga against Rhein Neckar Lowen. The 25-years old left back-playmaker has to go on surgery which will keep him ut of the court until the end of year.
Gottfridsson is a vital part of the Swedish national team and that could be a serious blow for the team who showed great performance until quarter-final of the World Championship 2017.
It is hard to predict, but it looks that Gottfridsson could miss the upcoming Men’s EHF EURO 201 in Croatia.
