Jim Gottfridsson three years in Szeged!
Jim Gottfridsson will leave Germany after 13 years of playing for SG Flensburg Handewitt. The 32-years old Swedish playmaker, one of the best in recent decade in world of handball, will join OTP Bank Pick Szeged in summer 2025.
The Swedish superstar who was twice MVP of EHF EURO 2018 and EHF EURO 2022, has signed three-years contract with Hungarian vice-champions who are setting ambitions higher in the upcoming period.
– I am very happy to announce that from July 1, 2025, Jim Gottfridsson will wear the shirt of OTP Bank-PICK Szeged. The Swedish national team player does not really need to be introduced to anyone, as he has vast international experience and is an excellent player. It will be a serious reinforcement for our club. We signed a three-year contract with the handball player arriving next summer, said Dr. President Ernő Péter Szűcs.
