Jorge Maqueda to change Pick Szeged for Telekom Veszprem

Another possible transfer bomb coming from Hungary where two teams Telekom Veszprem and MOL Pick Szeged battling for more than two decades about domination on domestic stage. After Roland Mikler left Veszprem in direction Szeged last summer, one of the biggest international profiles in team of Juan Carlos Pastor should wear Veszprem’s jersey according to Handball-Planet.com sources.

His name is Jorge Maqueda. The 31-years old Spanish right back is at the end of contract with current Hungarian vice-champions and he should move closer to the Balaton lake from summer 2020.

Maqueda has played at Szeged since 2018, when he came from RK Vardar Skopje, the best part of his career with winning EHF Champions League title in 2017.

Spaniard also played at HBC Nantes, BM Aragon, BM Alcobendas and FC Barcelona Lassa.

The 32-years old Spanish right back is at the end of contract with current Hungarian vice-champions and he should move closer to the Balaton lake from summer 2020.
