Lino Cervar to lead RK Eurofarm Pelister?

Lino Červar is set to become the new head coach of RK Eurofarm Pelister in the upcoming period!

An agreement has been reached with the legendary 76-year-old coach, and the official signing of the contract is expected soon.

The Olympic and World champion with the Croatian national team, who also led RK Metalurg to two EHF Champions League quarter-finals in 2013 and 2014, is returning to coaching after several years away from the bench. His last engagement was with the Croatian national team, which he coached at the 2021 World Championship in Egypt.

Červar is very familiar with the handball scene in North Macedonia, where he spent eight years in charge of Metalurg, while also coaching the Macedonian national team at the 2017 World Championship.

Eurofarm Pelister are coming off a modest season — winning the Super Cup, surrendering the league title to RK Vardar 1961 early, but still holding a chance to secure second place in the standings. That opportunity will come in a direct clash against GRK Ohrid away from home on May 22.
