The Slovenian handball Federation announced earlier today on the press conference the name of the new national team head-coach.
That will be Ljubomir Vranjes, who will lead Slovenians until 2024, starting from Men’s EHF EURO 2020 in three countries with 24 teams.
Vranjes will continue to work as coach of Swedish IFK Kristianstad.
The Swedish coach who won the VELUX EHF Champions League with SG Flensburg Handewitt in 2014, has experience on the national team stage with Serbia and Hungary.
Veselin Vujovic was coach of Slovenia between 2015 and 2019.
