LNH: DUNKERQUE CHAMPION! Montpellier beats PSG in derby!

DUNKERQUE IS THE NEW CHAMPION OF FRANCE! With five points advantage ahead of the second placed team and two rounds left, the team of Dunkerque won the French Championship for the first time in their history!

PSG Handball might find themself in trouble for next years’ EHF Champions League. The team from the capital city were convincingly defeated in a high-scoring game in Montpellier. With the 36-28 victory over PSG Handball, Montpellier now moved to the second place which is a CL place, while PSG Handball on the third place is scheduled to play in the EHF Cup. However, the Wild Card might be the solution for whichever of these two teams ends third.

Montpellier did a good job. What a pity such a team like PSG did so wrong. I’m not sure the PSG players realised this game was VERY important. Their defense is their biggest weakness. It is one of the badest this year. you cant be a good/great team with such holes in your defense !
