The Magdeburg’s team captain Fabian van Olphen and Robert Weber will be playing for Magdeburg the next season as well, after both signed contracts until 2015. Fabian van Olphen joined Magdeburg 2006 from Lubbecke, while Robert Weber joined Magdeburg 2009 from Balingen. Magdeburg’s coach Frank Carstens said that he was delighted to have both players stay more in Magdeburg, and underlined their importance to the team.
