Manolo Cadenas after Zagreb: Refeeres were bad for Wisla and handball

Orlen Wisla Plock coach Manolo Cadenas was deeply dissapointed with the level of referees’ performance (Horacek and Novotny) in defeat of his team in Zagreb 29:25 at VELUX EHF Champions League Round 5:

-It’s hard to say something after these kind of match. I want to congratulate Zagreb, especially to Vujovic, which team always fighting on 100%. I told this to my players before the match. We fought well, tried everything, but I have to express dissapointment with referees. They were bad for us and handball in total in the crucial moments.

His colleague Veselin Vujovic said:

– I feel sorry why Manolo was so angry during the match. One moment, one ball is decisive in these kind of matches. We began bad, played too slow, goalkeepers weren’t on necessary level, but in the last 12-13 minutes we were brilliant.Sandro Obranovic showed extra-class in situation 5 on 6. Wisla is strong team with one of the best world’s coaches..
