Masters Handball World Cup 2027: Record-breaking 10th edition expects over 2,500 participants
The Masters Handball World Cup 2027 is set to celebrate its 10th edition in record-breaking fashion, with more than 2,500 participants from several continents and over 20 countries expected to gather on the Croatian Adriatic coast from May 19 to 23, 2027.
Interest in the jubilee edition is already extremely high, with 60% of the available capacity already booked, confirming the growing international appeal of an event which has become much more than just a handball tournament.
The 2027 Masters Handball World Cup will be played in two famous Dalmatian destinations – Omiš and Makarska, with matches taking place across four sports halls. Participants will also enjoy a unique tournament atmosphere in hotels dedicated exclusively to the handball community during the event.
The concept of the Masters Handball World Cup is simple: bring people back to the game they love.
For a few days, former professionals, amateur players and lifelong handball enthusiasts will have the chance to turn back the clock and return to their youth – to step onto the court again, compete, stay active and, above all, spend quality time with old and new friends.
Players ranging from 30 to over 70 years of age will take part, proving once again that handball passion has no expiration date.
Sport, physical activity, competition, friendship and socialising have been at the heart of the Masters Handball World Cup since its beginning. The jubilee 10th edition is expected to bring together the biggest international Masters handball community so far and turn Omiš and Makarska into true handball cities for five unforgettable days.
With more than 2,500 participants expected, teams arriving from several continents and already 60% of the total capacity filled, those interested in joining the event are encouraged to secure their place in time.
