“Heuberger’s boys” win the Junior World Championship in Greece. In the final match, Germany was clearly better rival against Denmark 27:18 (13:10). That is second German gold in a row, after generation 1988 and the third Final clash, after Gensheimer’s generation 1986 lost Gold medal in Macedonia against Sweden. There is no better way for Martin Heuberger to end his career in the Junior handball and start with his job as senior national coach.
Third place and bronze medal won Tunisia after win over Egypt 24:18.
