Mikael Appelgren out until the end of the year

Bad news comming from Mannheim – Mikael Appelgren had a tendon injury in his left shoulder sustained during training forced the Swedish national goalkeeper to undergo an operation, which went well. Nevertheless, Rhein-Neckar Löwen will probably have to do without him until the end of the year.

In addition to Andreas Palicka, Rhein-Neckar Löwen have also drawn on David Späth from their own third division reserve and the JBLH team in the competitive games against TTH Holstebro and TVB Stuttgart in recent weeks.
