One of the most known players from Montenegro, line player, Mladen Rakcevic (29) signed a new one season contract with Macedonian champion, Metalurg Skopje. Rakcevic began to play in Lovcen Cetinje, succesful champion of former Yugoslavia, who played in the EHF Champions League 1/4 Final in 2000. His first international team was Vardar Skopje, with whom Rakcevic also won national championship and play in the EHF Champions League. After Vardar Skopje, he spent a year in Serbian TOP team, Kolubara Lazarevac, where he also won a champioship in 2009/2010, after he moved again to Skopje, where he become a vital part of Vardar’s biggest rival, Metalurg Skopje.
Rakcevic will have another opportunity to play in the EHF CL, because Metalurg will be drawn for the qualification.
Contracts renewal signed also Filip Mirkulovski (left back), Vanco Dimovski (line player) and the biggest Macedonian handball star after Kiril Lazarov, Naumce Mojsovski.
