Nikola Karabatic in F.C Barcelona next four years!

Nikola Karabatic will be an FC Barcelona handball player for the next four seasons. The world player of the year in 2007, double Olympic champion, double European champion, double world champion and double Champions League winner will be wearing the Barça jersey.

Nikola Karabatic is a 29 year old forward. He’s 1.96 m tall and was born in the Serbian town of Nis, but has French nationality. Karabatic has come to FCB from Pays d’Aix, having previously played for Montpellier and THW Kiel.

A full international for France, Karabatic has won all of the Olympic, European and World titles twice with the French national team.

He has also won two Champions Leagues, one with Montpellier and the other with THW Kiel, as well as four Bundesligas and six French leagues, among many other honours. Karabatic was named world player of the year in 2007 and last season, 12/13, was voted top player in the French championship.

Presentation on Wednesday

The player will be presented on Wednesday morning at 10.30 in the Palau Blaugrana pressroom. He will be joined for the event by the director responsible for the section, Eduard Coll, and the handball coach and technical secretary, Xavi Pascual.

This will be the French star’s first appearance before the media following the announcement of his transfer to FC Barcelona.
