Noemi Hafra is Young World Female Handball Player 2018/2019

Handball-Planet.com is pleased to announce the results of our sixth Voting Contest for the Young World Female Handball Player 2018/2019 (generation 1997 and younger). The Hungarian young superstar, Noemi Hafra (1998) has got the highest number of cumulative votes of handball journalists and handball fans (Handball-Planet.com visitors). Oustanding performances of the 20 years-old left back, who scored 80 goals at Women’s EHF Champions League 2018/2019 for FTC Rail Cargo and 42 goals for Hungary at Women’s EHF EURO 2018, put Hungarian girl ahead of others. 

Hafra won the award with 19 points, ahead of Ella Henny Reistad from Norwegian Vipers (17) and team-mate Dorottya Faluvegi (14).

In two weeks of voting period 15.340 votes for 21 nominated players have shown the outstanding interest for our project, who has the goal to present the future stars of our sport.

BURGAARD, DMITRIEVA, VYAKHIREVA AND DUMANSKA

Handball-Planet.com looking for the fifth  best player on the Earth in the history of our Contest. Danish right back Louise Burgaard (2013/2014) won title five years years ago, while in 2015, Russian playmaker Daria Dmitrieva was the BEST ahead of her compatriot Anna Vyakhireva in 2016 and 2017. Romanian goalkeeper Yulia Dumanska was the best in 2018.
