For last nine years, Danube’s beach “Strand” in Novi Sad is one of the favourit European sites for playing Beach Handball. Fantastic sand, warm welcome for all teams, charming city below Petrovaradin’s fortress and amazing nightlife are elements that create “must back again” feeling for all participants. That was reason that Tournament grow year by year keeping old particpants and “invite” new ones. This year, starting from Friday, June 24, til Sunday, Beach Handball will be the reason that about 30 top teams will visit Novi Sad.
Among them 10 of 12 title holders in the history of EBT Masters/Finals (Detono (CRO), Budaors (HUN) & LETO2002 (SRB)), current winners of Champions cup, Russian team Ekaterinodar, many others from Hungary, Croatia, Italy and national teams from Croatia, Hungary, Italy and Romania in both male and female competition, seniors and U16. It means that jubilar X edition of “Novi Sad” Beach Handball tournament will be by teams quality the strongest tournament of this years EBT season.
It is not surprise when it’s known dedication of local people to Beach Handball and to common goal to organise top BH events as are European and World championships.
Weather forecast say that Sun will support spectatores and participants, so it’s the best invitation for all that will be able to come to “Strand” beach and enjoy in this spectacular sport that will start being member of Olympic family from 2018 and Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires.
