Oliver Roggisch says farewell to RNL and Handball

roggischJust after RNL lost the championship race in the Bundesliga to THW Kiel, came the day when Oliver Roggisch waved goodbye to the club, to the fans, and to handball. On his farewell-game, SAP-Arena welcomed 13200 loyal fans. Rhein-Neckar Lowen played against a selection from the German national team, and game ended 34:39 (22:24). The hall echoed with long applause for him, and Uwe Gensheimer was full of praise for him “Oli is unique, a true, authentic guy and a great player, that gives 100% for his team. It was a great evening.”

Oliver Roggisch began his career with Schutterwald, and then also played for Frisch auf Goppingen, TuSEM Essen and SC Magdeburg, before moving in 2007 to Rhein-Neckar Lowen.

    Can you atleast tell why that icon of a player is a “discrace” for handball?

    thanks god he won’t play again, dicgrace for Handball like Pepe in Football….
