PPD Zagreb looking for replacement for injured David Miklavcic

The Croatian champions RK PPD Zagreb entered the list of the teams which are looking for an early replacement in the squad, just in the first weeks of the new season. The 34-years Slovenian right back David Miklavcic will be out between four and five months due shoulder injury, so Zagreb stay only with Mario Vuglac on that position.

Under this circumstances, it is clear that Croatian champions need reinforcement for the upcoming months in which most of the battles for EHF CL TOP 16 will be played. The 25-years old Vuglac, returnee from Qatari Lekhwya, has often injury problems, so it is expected that Zagreb find some interim solution.

It is hard to expect that Miklavcic becomes fit for the Men’s EHF EURO 2018 in Croatia, on which Slovenia play in Group in Zagreb with Germany, Montenegro and Macedonia.
