Prokop and TSV Hannover Burgdorf together until 2026
Christian Prokop will stay at TSV Hannover Burgdorf at least until 2026. Former German NT coach came to Hannover in 2021 where good work obviously gave him a chance to extend his existing deal for one more season.
“We are delighted to have extended the contract with Christian Prokop early. Christian has proven in recent years that he is not only an outstanding expert, but also has a clear vision for the sporting development of our team. Under his leadership, we have managed to realign ourselves and have constantly improved,” said sporting director Sven-Sören Christophersen, commenting on the contract extension.
Managing director Eike Korsen added: “We have grown closer together in the management team over the first few years, so continuing our common path is the logical expression of our forward-looking perspective. I am therefore delighted that we are staying together in this constellation.”
“I am delighted to have extended my contract in Hanover. We feel very comfortable in the club and in the city. I see the development of the last two years and have the firm feeling that this will continue. I am delighted that important players have extended their contracts and at the same time I am happy that we have acquired more guys who will strengthen our team. So I have a lot of faith in us and the whole club. We all hope that we will qualify for the European Cup again in the next few years,” says coach Christian Prokop.
