Rade Mijatović to replace injured Pejanović in Dinamo Minsk!

Belarusian champion, Dinamo Minsk has faced  unexpected problems just a few days before the official start at VELUX EHF Champions League 2012/2013 in Germany against Fuchse Berlin (30th of September). The first goalkeeper, Dimitrije Pejanović (38) has suffered a serious Achilles tendon injury during the derby match against Meshkov Brest (Dinamo won 32:29) in domestic League last weekend and the first prognosis are that he will be out of action at least until January. That means that Ex-Serbian NT goalkeeper will miss almost all the matches of the VELUX EHF CL Preliminary Stage. Former Torrevieja’s goalkeeper will be operated until end of the week in Barcelona by medical service of F.C Barcelona.

Dinamo’s management reacted swiftly and found a replacement for injured Pejanović. That is a member of Montenegrin NT, Rade Mijatović (31) who finished last season in Spanish Antequera. Alongside with his compatriot Vasko Ševaljević, a new team-mate in Minsk, Mijatović had significant role in the last success of Montenegrin handball – placement at World Championship 2013 over Olympic silver medal winner Sweden last June. He will be a great help to Vadim Bogdanov on the goal line.
