Experienced line-player Rastko Stojkovic decided to postpone knee surgery scheduled for January 10 and joined Serbian team at preparations for the upcoming Men’s EHF EURO 2018 in Croatia. The 36-years old member of Meshkov Brest has problem with meniscus, but it is clear now that surgery will wait for some other period of the year.
- We will be much stronger with Rastko in the roster. I really respect his gesture – said Serbian NT coach Jovica Cvetkovic.
Serbs play friendly match with Macedonia today, while the last two clashes are scheduled for January 9 and 10 in Slovenia.
“Eagles” play their first match at EHF EURO 2018 with Croatia on January 12. In this group are also Sweden and Iceland.
