Poland celebrated the easiest win until now at the Men’s EHF EURO 2016 in Krakow by beating Belarus 32:27 (19:13). Without injured Siarhei Rutenka, Belarussian had no power to give a fight to the host team supported by sold-out Tauron Arena, where 15.000 cheered for a success which will bring team closer to the semi-final.
Slawomir Szmal (11 saves) and Michal Jurecki (9) had the main role in the winning squad as it was expected.
Now it is clear, Poland have to beat Croatia in the last match to secure semi-final. It would be possible even to tie or to lose, but in that case, Norway have to stay unbeaten or to beat FRANCE.
