SC Magdeburg is no longer in debt. The German was in debt of around 2,5 million seven years ago, but now the debt is only 100,000 EUR. The clubs budget was growing constantly, and what was 4,3mil EUR in the previous year is now 4,9mil in this coming season. The financial handball giant in the Bundesliga in the upcoming season is still the same – THW Kiel is having a budget of 9,5 million EUR.
