Egyptian star on the right back position, the 24-years old Yahia Omar has suffered knee ligaments injury in 40th minute of the match against Wisla Plock 32:22 on Thursday.
“Based on yesterday’s tests, which were also confirmed by further tests carried out at the Sports Hospital today, Yahia Omar has a torn anterior cruciate ligament. His recovery will take a long time, so this season our excellent right-handed hitter will no longer be able to play. It is always a very difficult time for an injured player, to whom we wish a speedy recovery and who we wholeheartedly support on his way back! We also thank you for the many interests and well wishes that you have posted on any of our channels since our match yesterday!”, is written in Veszprem’s statement.
