SEHA: RK Zagreb beats Nexe, takes first place and on Friday meets Metalurg in Skopje

In the regional SEHA league, the leaders Nexe lost the leading position on the table after the team has fallen in Zagreb Arena and lost to the more quality team of RK Zagreb to 33:31 (14:14). Throughout the whole game Nexe did not let Zagreb get away and had even 30:30, but the team’s resistance was broken in the final minutes of the game and Zagreb won 33:31 in the end. Luka Stepancic scored 10 goals, while Nexe’s best was Igor Vujin with 6 goals.

RK Zagreb leads the table with 13 points, one more than Presov and Nexe with 12. Vardar has 10, while Metalurg “only” 9 so far. On Friday the big derby of the regional game is to be played in Skopje, where the perfect-in-Champions-League Metalurg hosts RK Zagreb.
