SEHA: Round 4 review

The SEHA Regional league is slowly getting into shape and the initial problems seem to be a distant past. The round 4 went smoothly, with small surprise in Skopje, where Metalurg drew at home against Nexe, while Zagreb, Tatran, Vardar and Metaloplastika won.

Tatran Presov 39:30 Izvidjac – The Slovakians showed why they are one of the favorites in this league, and they proved it with a high-scoring home win against Izvidjac.

Borac 24:29 Zagreb – Borac had the support of 5000 home fans, but it wasn’t enough to beat Zagreb, who justified their favorite role in this game and won it with 29:24.

Metaloplastika 25:22 Bosna – Bosna is experiencing hard times. After a big defeat at home against Kadetten in the Champions League, now the team lost in the SEHA to Metaloplastika ,and to make the situation worse, next weekend they are playing Zagreb away in the Champions League.

Metalurg 26:26 Nexe – Very even game throughout the whole 60 minutes. In the last second Nexe had 9 meters from which they scored, but the referees from Serbia denied the goal by saying he scored with “holding-up”, and the teams shared the points in the end, tied.

Vardar 33:23 Sutjeska – Vardar were big favorites in this game, and in “Kale” in front of their home crowd they scored a comfortable win, 10 goals victory over Sutjeska, 33:23.
