Serbian “Eagles” together without Bojinovic

Serbian NT coach, Veselin Vukovic announced 21 players, who will start the preparation for the “historical event”, EHF EURO 2012. The biggest question of Serbian national team, despite injuries of Nikola Manojlovic and Zarko Sesum, was appearance of Mladen Bojinovic, the most experienced Serbian player from French HC Montpellier. Vukovic decided to put him in reserve. Bojinovic won’t be included in squad until 1st of January, when something maybe will change.

“Eagles” will begin with preparation at 23rd of December in Novi Sad. Six days later, Serbia will play against Romania friendly match. In 2012, Serbia will have two more test matches. Rivals will be Macedonia (8th) and Czech Republic (11th January).

SQUAD:

Goalkeepers: Darko Stanic, Strahinja Milic and Dragan Marjanac.

Left wing: Dobrivoje Markovic and Ivan Nikcevic

Right wing: Rajko Prodanović and Milos Kostadinovic

Pivot: Alem Toskić, Rastko Stojkovic and Bojan Beljanski.

Left backs: Momir Ilic, Nenad Vuckovic, Momir Rnic, David Rasic.

Mid-backs: Zarko Šešum, Nikola Manojlovic, Dalibor Cutura, Petar Nenadic, Luka Mitrovic.

Right backs: Marko Vujin and Ivan Stankovic.

Reserves: Jozef Holpert (goalkeeper), Danimir Ćurković (left back), Vukasin Rajkovic (right back), Nemanja Pribak and Mladen Bojinovic (middle back), and Slobodan Djukic, Milan Pavic (right wing).
