SG Flensburg Handewitt are the new-old German champions! Team of Maik Machulla saved the advantage ahead of THW Kiel in the last match of the season against Bergischer 27:24. This is the third Championship title for the team from the German-Danish border.

The second place is won by THW Kiel, who will take back the place at VELUX EHF Champions League.
