With the Russian handball Federation president, Sergey Shishkarev is never boring. After meeting of Executive committee, the chairman of Russian handball was very clear:
– Some players obviosly didn’t recognize that with national jersey you have responsibility in ftont of the fans and all other people who spent decade in education of handball generations. They forgot to save the honour of nation. They took jersey as some ordinary piece of clothes – said Shishkarev and added:
– We can be satisfied with appearance in Japan, but nothing more. It was tough conversation, we had questions for the coaching staff. Defeat in semi-final against Dutch team was underestimating, because our team was favorite according to community. I am glad that we avoid confrontation between two best coaches of our time, Evgeny Trefilov and Ambros Martin. We take in consideration all the mistakes during pre-period and tournament, but now our main thing is to qualify for Tokyo 2020. It won’t be easy.
