With two goals in the last three minutes of fantastic playmaker Miha Zarabec, Slovenia outplayed Iceland 26:25 (11:8) for their second win at IHF World Champioships 2017 in France. Balkan team were in domination most of the time in clash in Metz, but Iceland managed to turnover on 17:16 in 41st minute, to put pressure on Veselin Vujovic boys.
Two teams stayed almost balanced until the end, with one or two goal more on Slovenian side, but at the end, match winner Miha Zarabec didn’t let any surprise.
Slovenia are on four points, Iceland on 0.
Marko Bezjak netted six goals for the winners.
