Slovenia: Gorenje is new champion!

For the second time in club’s history, Gorenje Velenje wins the Slovenian championship. Five matches before the end of the Championship race, Gorenje has 10 points more than second team, Celje Pivovarna Lasko. In the tonight’s battle, Gorenje celebrates clear win over Celje PL 33:25. That was the third win over neighbourgh this season.

From the next season, Slovenia will have two teams in the EHF Champions League. Battle for the second place between Celje PL and Gorenje will be interesting until the last Round.
