The Macedonian champions RK Vardar Skopje will be without team’s captain Stojance Stoilov for a long period at the start of the season.
The 31-years old line-player get injured in match against Paris Saint Germain in Strasbourg. Broken hand will keep him out of the court between two and three months, announced RK Vardar coach Garcia Parrondo at Press conference before the first match of the season against local rival RK Metalurg Skopje on Wednesday.
It is still unknown, whether Stoilov will go “under the knife”, but it is clear that he will miss about half of the matches of EHF Champions League preliminary round.
RK Vardar have on the same position Brazilian giant Moraes and Russian line-player Gleb Kalarash.
