After few weeks in quarantine, due the positive results on COVID-19, Vardar captain Stojance Stoilov is back on track! The big man from Skopje did the first training after the break, and will be in service to head coach Stevce Alushevski for the 1st round EHF Champions league fixture against Meshkov Brest in Belarus.
Stoilov missed the last week’s SEHA Gasprom league final-four in Zadar, where Vardar 1961 lost their final clash against Telekom Veszprem. Macedonian team is still the reigning EHF CL title holder, but just until the end of December, when THW Kiel, Telekom Veszprem, PSG and Fc Barcelona Lassa will play for the EHF Champions league title (season 2019/2020).
Meanwhile, top European clubs where start the new seasnon. Vardar’s opener is in Wednesday (18.45 CET) in Belarus.
