STRUGA 2017: Besiktas Mogaz and Chartres for the trophy

The Turkish champions Besiktas MOGAZ and French second league favorite Chartres will meet at the final of the 45th International tournament in Macedonian city of Struga. Traditional open-air event at “Women’s Beach” on a beautiful Ohrid Lake will coming to an end with three matches for the final placement.

Domestic derby between RK Metalurg and RK Ohrid 2013 will be seen in the battle for the third place. The third best Macedonian team in the last season from Ohrid made a surprise by beating Swedish vice-champions Alingsas 28:27 to win the second place in the group behind Besiktas Mogaz.

The French Chartre earned place in the second final in a row in Struga by beating RK Metalurg Skopje 28:22. Team led by Lino Cervar, afterwards, had just an easy training session against home team RK Struga 43:11.

Alingsas and Struga will play for the fifth place.
